Glitter Problems - How to remove Glitter Nail Polish

Are you someone who loves glitter polish?
Well, if you are, you'll know how annoying and difficult it is to remover glitter from your nails. The cotton or wipe tears and there will still be glitter on your nails, along with cotton pieces.

Don't you worry, I have a solution. Here's how I remove my glitter polish. It's simple, but you have to take care of your nails after. I'll explain on the way.

Here's what you'll need...
  • Aluminium Foil
  • Acetone/Remover
  • Cotton (Wipe or ball)
  • Scissors

First, you have to cut the foil (enough to wrap the upper half of your finger) and the cotton (according to your nail size).

Put some acetone/remover on the cotton.
Put it on your nail and wrap the foil around your finger nicely so that there is minimum air contact.

It should look something like this.

Wait for 5 mins. Then carefully pull out the foil along with the cotton inside. Something like this...

And you're done with Stage 1, which is also the difficult part of it. Yay!
This works so well. I tried this technique on my other nail as well. It pulled out the manicure as it is.

Pretty awesome, right?

Now comes Stage 2.
Since you were literally exposed to acid for 5 mins, you have to take care of the damage done.
Go wash your hands with soap water to remove stains, if any. Massage your cuticle area with moisturizer or baby oil and let it stay for a good 15-20 minutes.

And you're done!
Now go empty out all the glitter polishes you have.
Happy nails to you!
