This is not Nail design post. It's a tutorial.
Fool people into thinking you're ambidextrous!
Let's all agree to the fact that we all are horrible when it comes to painting with our non-dominant hands, especially when we want to do designs.
Here's a trick which I've been using for ages. I wanted to share it with all you Nail Art aspirants over there.

You need -
- Your nails painted with the base colour
- A zip-lock bag or any thick plastic sheet
- Clear top coat
- Nail paints of your design
- Nail art or any paint brush (size differs according to design)
- Tweezers
- Nail Scissors or any small pair of scissors
- Acetone or Remover
- PATIENCE
So, lay down your plastic sheet on a flat surface. I usually tape mine on a table (hassle free).
Put a thick coat of clear polish on it according to your nail size. Now this is tricky since it's transparent. But, don't worry, you'll get better with practice!
Wait for it to completely dry before you go ahead and make your design. This might take 10-15 minutes since you've put a thick coat. Just to be in the safe side, you can leave it over-night.
I have made a simple XOXO design.
Well, you also got a peak into my Valentine's Day manicure (so much for the suspense).
Now comes the patience part of it.
Once the design is absolutely dry, carefully start peeling off the design form the plastic with a pair of tweezers like so...
Congratulations! You've made your own Nail Art Decal!
Keep this aside carefully and apply a clear top coat onto your nails. Carefully place the decal on your nails and dab it gently with your finger. Cut off the excess, clean up the sides and seal it with a top coat.
Here's a GIF so that it make's a little more sense!
Here's the outcome... The finger at the bottom is done by my dominant hand and the finger on top is done by my non-dominant hand. Difficult to tell them apart right!
I hope this tutorial hepled!
Do share it with all your friends!
Looking forward to see some crazy designs ON BOTH YOUR HANDS!
Tc!
